Tuesday Ten ~In the News~

Around Mosey's house
These are the headlines:

Sickness has swept through the home, rendering each member of the family on the couch at one point or another. Thankfully most of the victims of this illness are back on their feet.

Some however are still coughing after the outbreak was brought under control.
(okay it was just a cold, but this IS a news report!)

As often happens in this area, the weather went from hot to cold in the blink of an eye, thankfully on one short between day pictures of the fall color were captured before the snows began to fall.

Though many attempts at a good shot were made... None were to be had.
This was the closest thing to a decent picture that could be captured.

The Vision Forum &  JMCremp's Catalogs have arrived
These children have rarely been seen more than a few moments without a pen and a catalog in hand...

In other news, sometimes it's a GREAT thing that some kids have such cute smiles...
(if you catch what I mean!)

New fencing garb has arrived for our veteran fencers.

Some fencers feel that the sparkling white gear might actually make their form even better than before!

Another young man is considering joining the ranks of those with swords.
He tries on some gear.

& that is all in the news today

Tuesday Ten ~my little pumpkins~

Saturday was Evie's FIRST trip to the pumpkin patch!
She LOVED it and I'm pretty sure she sat on EVERY SINGLE pumpkin in the patch and said cheese...

The rule is, you have to be able to carry it out yourself to take it home,
So the very serious hunt began to find the biggest possible pumpkin that could still be hefted!

Evie, exploding out of the slide!
She LOVES slides and this crazy one was no exception,
first time she really smiled and laughed (belly laughter) since she'd cut her mouth a few days before!

These, two... Oh me...
I have a scrapbook page of them when they are one and two years old called
"partners in crime"
and they continue to live up to that title.
This picture makes me laugh, the mischief you see in those sparkly eyes and Taye's body language,
yep, that is my life. (By the way, this truck was the "table" in the little picnic area at the patch. I'd never let my kids stand on a moving truck like this... but I guess I do let them stand on tables  hehehe)

Tuesday Ten ~Ten Steps to baking Perfection~

1. Find the cutest little girl in the house and be sure she has the proper attire for baking.

2. Let her help with EVERY single step.

3. Mixing a little more is always a good idea.

4. Be sure to turn on the oven lights so she can peak at her shortbread creation

5. After she helps you measure out and make the whipped cream remember that any great chef always tastes her work before serving it. (sometimes a second opinion is needed too)

6. Take care and pick a pretty plate for your first delivery of warm shortbread delight!

7. Say cheeeeeeeeese

8. Make your deliveries ALL BY YOURSELF!

9. Be sure to offer that "bip keem" to EVERYONE

10. ENJOY!

Evie darling, it was SO much fun making cookies with you for the first time ever! You did GREAT!!! (didn't even spill a spot of flour or anything!)
I love time with you!
